The Indian national team are set to face Nepal in an international friendly on 31 August 2015 as a preparation for the team’s forthcoming 2018 World Cup Preliminary Qualification match against Iran on 8 September.

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) have announced an initial list of 30 names which may be further reduced by head coach Dhruba KC and his assistant before travelling to Pune as the match will take place at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune.

Goalkeepers: Kiran Chemjong, Bikesh Kuthu, Ritesh Thapa.

Defenders: Bikesh Maharjan, Rohit Chand, Sagar Thapa, Sandip Rai, Ranjit Dhimal, Ananta Tamang, Aditya Chaudhary, Ajit Bhandari, Rabin Shrestha, Jitendra Karki.

Midfielders: Bikram Lama, Bishal Rai, Bhola Silwal, Jagjeet Shrestha, Sushil KC, Shyam Nepali, Raju Tamang, Hemanta Thapa Magar, Biswas Shrestha.

Forwards: Ranjan Bista, Jumanu Rai, Anil Gurung, Bharat Khawas, Nawayug Shrestha, Bimal Gharti Magar, Bharat Shah, Anjan Bista.
