The century-old club from Kolkata will try to win their first silverware of the season.
As thirteen time champions Mohun Bagan take to the field on Saturday against giant-slayers Aizawl FC, the Mariners remain the favourites with all first team regualrs in attendance to try and win back the Federation Cup for the first time since 2008.
Sanjoy Sen has not tinkered much with his 18 man squad from their 0-0 draw at Shillong last weekend as they progressed to their 19th final after winning 5-0 on aggregate. The only change sees young midfielder Tirthankar Sarkar lose out to Abhishek Das, providing defensive cover.
Defender Kinshuk Debnath and midfielder Pronay Halder were rested in the second leg of the semi-final after being booked in the home leg and both are expected to make it to the playing eleven in the summit clash. Opposition skipper David Lalrinmuana, however is suspended from the final after getting sent off in the semi-final against Sporting Clube de Goa.
