The Indian national football team continue their preparation for the crucial 2019 Asian Cup qualifying game against Macau on September 5th.
The team take part in the Hero Tri Nation Football Series along with Mauritius and St. Kitts and Nevis. The game against Mauritius will be held on the 19th of August and they play St. Kitts and Nevis on the 24th of August. While Mauritius and St. Kitts and Nevis play each other on the 22nd.
The entire tournament is scheduled to be held in Mumbai. AIFF General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das said the “sporting culture” of Mumbai makes it stand out amongst others.“We are overwhelmed by the eagerness of the authorities in Mumbai to host the three International matches in Mumbai. Mumbai has been the venue for the National Team since September 2016 when we hosted Puerto Rico,” he stated.
