India continued to apply the pressure and finally succeeded in the 38th minute when Rowlin Borges found Robin Singh with an inch perfect through ball who slotted home the following one v one, however Kevin Obrian Jean Louis the Mauritian Goalie should’ve done a lot better in that situation, the first half ended 1-1.
India made three changed at half time with Poojary replacing Jacki, Balwant Singh replacing Robin Singh and Amrinder Singh coming in for Subrata Paul. It was an international debut for all three substitutes coming on.
